The DLW-300ES, Multiquip's newest welder/generator, is among the handful of products to be named a Hot Product Award winner by Modern Steel Construction magazine.

Winners represent an elite number of the steel construction industry's most exciting new products as selected by editors of the industry-leading publication. Products were chosen based on innovative features and those which stand to make the work of structural engineers, steel construction professionals, steel detailers and others in the industry "better and easier." The DLW-300ES is showcased in Modern Steel Construction's August issue.

The 10,000-watt DLW-300ES is an efficient, midsize 300-amp welder and 10kW generator with a 100 percent duty cycle at 280 amps. It's one of the most fuel-efficient models on the market, delivering premium productivity at half the rpms while using half the fuel of its predecessor model. The DLW-300ES operates at idle up to 160 amps and uses only 0.39 gallons of fuel per hour at 120 amps and only 1.1 gph at full load.

In addition to significantly lowering fuel costs, the welder's arc force dial allows operators to fine tune the arc to the desired quality while lower noise levels make operating the welder more comfortable.
