Multiquip has a bright future in India.

The Commex Construction Machinery & Materials Expo 2006, Dec. 7-10 in Hyderabad, was a huge success for MQ's exclusive dealer in India, and first time exhibitor at the show-Multiquip Construction Equipment Private Ltd. (MQ-India).

Not only were numerous rollers, rammers, plate compactors, vibrators, and trowels sold at MQ-India's booth but perhaps more importantly, indications are India is now ready to adopt high quality, imported construction equipment to expedite its massive number of building and infrastructure projects.

Other show highlights included MQ-India Director Narinder Jit Singh receiving the "Best Demonstration" award from Commex officials for his consistent crowd-drawing demonstrations of Mikasa compaction equipment and MQ/Whiteman concrete working products. Singh was assisted throughout the 4-day trade show by Kishore Gandhi, MQ-India's new dealer in Bangalore.

Also, several dignitaries from the Karnataka state and nearby National Construction Institute frequented the MQ-India booth. All left motivated to continue the country's quick move towards incorporating superior construction equipment in the years ahead.

To capitalize on the momentum generated at Commex, Singh will soon acquire property for a Hyderabad branch and he is planning another outlet in Chennai, on India's east coast.

With those additions, MQ-India will be well represented in the nation's fastest growing areas-Mumbai, on the west coast, Bangalore and Hyderabad in central India, and Chennai. Singh will stock new and demonstration equipment, more parts, and have additional sales and service personnel readily available nationwide.
