Multiquip's new Dry Prime pumps are designed for moving large quantities of water quickly and efficiently in a diverse range of applications.

The Dry Prime Series moves up to 5,000 gallons (19,000 liters) per minute in model sizes ranging from 6 to 12 inches (150-300 millimeters). They excel in the dewatering, sludge, sewer-by-pass and well point jobs performed by pumping contractors, municipalities and rental operators.

These unique pumps combine recent innovations with more than half a century of pumping design technology to create more reliable units that are easy to service, and boast long run times and superior fuel economy.

Foremost among the Dry Prime's new features is a patented screw-type impeller for increased flow using the same horsepower as many competitive models. The pumps eliminate the need for wear parts and each is fitted with a 148-gallon (563 liters) fuel tank for extended continuous run times of up to 100 hours.

Powered by 40-96 horsepower Deutz diesel engines, these high-flow Dry Prime pumps showcase heads of up to 143 feet (43 meters) and can generate lift of 30 feet (9 meters) in only 30 seconds. Each also handles solids up to 3.6 inches (91 mm.), pump and priming system drain valves to eliminate the risk of water freezing in the unit, and a water lube vacuum pump to prevent oil leaks and other unwanted priming discharge.

A host of accessories are offered with each Dry Prime model. These include suction hoses, quick disconnect fittings and discharge hoses.
