Contractors, end-users and dealers agreed that the 2008 World of Concrete and Las Vegas was the perfect combination. Over 84,789 registrants from around the world attended the second largest show in the WOC history, second only to the 2007's record-breaking show. *
Multiquip, STOW Construction Equipment, Whiteman and Sanders Saws occupied several booths that contained an extensive inventory of concrete and masonry products. Multiquip along with 1,739 exhibitors demonstrated the latest equipment avaliable in the construction industry.
One of the most popular new product introductions in our indoor booths were the popular small line of concrete pumps available today, the Mayco LS pumps. These units now feature and innovative digital control panel that provide instant information on all facts of the pump's operation.
The Jimmy Rebar Benders and the addition of a new member to the rammer family, the MTX60 were "eye catching." Back by popular demand were also the MVC82 Series plate compactors with the anti-vibration (AVS) and a flip-over handle. Another "must see" product was the state-of-the art BDW180MC welder. This light, compact and portable welder delivers premium performance with true DC power.
Multiquip's demonstration area consistently drew a crowd of contractors seeking an opportunity to run the popular HHN, HTX and STX-series ride-on trowels.
Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, the new friends and business relationships will remain with Multiquip for years to come.
