With 2,182 exhibitors and about 145,000 spectators from all over the globe, the Las Vegas show sets news standards.  The 2008 CON/EXPO-CON/AGG  was the largest tradeshow in North America covering more than 2.28 million  square feet of exhibits, 21% larger than the last show, held in 2005.*

The extravagant introduction award was given to the Rammax Viper trench roller. The Rammax Viper trench roller is the latest innovation in the compaction sector. It features Straight Compaction Technology (STC), Z-Shape Frame Design, Two Steering System, and a unique Articulation and Oscillation Joint system, a design that provides reliable stability on uneven surfaces and easy mobility in tight environments.

Further product highlights presented were the Mayco's concrete pumps, the MTX60 rammer, the Jimmy Rebar Benders and Cutters. Moreover, Multiquip showcased the new BDW180MC battery-powered welder the MVC82 Series plate compactors with flip-over handle and Anti-Vibration Handle System.

To break-away from all the glamour and work a Construction Challenge 5K race was offered in c onjunction with the CON/EXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE event in which many were invited run or walk for fun.

Last but not least the first Construction Challenge competition took place. This event wasinitiated by show organizer Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). Multiquip sponsored a team of talented young individuals who were part of the creative problem-solving competition. This contest was designed to interest high school students in construction careers.
