Whiteman Manufacturing, with nearly 50 years of innovative engineering and manufacturing experience, joined forces with Multiquip on January 1, 1987. Multiquip at the time, temporarly assumed the U.S sales and marketing rights for all products produced by Whiteman Manufacturing. Located in Boise, Idaho, Whiteman was famous for its line of Power Trowels and Power Buggies. They were recognized around the world as Number One, and with rational reason, since inventing the product, they had never been satisfied with being "good enough."

Whiteman's addition to the Multiquip family marked a new milestone in the construction industry. With Multiquip's full line of pumps, generators, welders, compaction and concrete equipment there was no doubt that their combined industry expertise would skyrocket. And it did!

The MQ/Whiteman Power Trowel line was exhibited at the 1987 ARA show where customers expressed excitement in Multiquip's new expedition. In 1988, Whiteman celebrated its 50th anniversary and  introduced the innovative Multiquip-Whiteman Power Buggies to the market. That same year, Multiquip also commemorated the full ownership of Whiteman Manufacturing.

In March 1990, a revolutionary new line of concrete and mortar mixers were introduced. Whiteman's Ride-on Roller Screed was introduced at the 1997 World of Concrete. Manufacturing space had increased from 42,000 sq. feet to 130,000 sq. feet to accommodate the increase in production and sales.

Presently,  MQ/Whiteman manufactures walk behind trowels, ride on trowels, vibrator screeds-roller screed, diamond blades, floor preparation equipment, rebar cutters and benders and concrete saws. MQ/Whiteman has over 200 team members that look forward to the future with great anticiption.
