Once again Multiquip impresses with the introduction of the new Whiteman HHX ride on power trowel, designed with innovative features certain to deliver ultimate performance and convenience. Recently showcased at the World of Concrete 2009, the HHX was admired by many spectators for its unique design.
Service and maintenance intervals are easier to perform with the HHX's patented swing-away upper frame design. The swing-away upper frame designed eliminates headaches by facilitating access to many components. With minimal effort operators can simultaneously control the pitch of both rotors using the twin pitch control feature. For nighttime or indoor applications six 55 watt Hella halogen lights come standard.
Powered by a 31 hp Vanguard gasoline engine (HHXG5) or the 34 hp Vanguard diesel engine (HHXD5), the HHX is fitted with a 9 gallon fuel tank capacity and delivers rotors speeds from 40-170 rpm. The helical-cut gearbox design on this unit virtually eliminates problems caused by overheating under harsh operating conditions. In addition, the HHX ride on power trowel is equipped with continuous variable transmission for optimal performance during pan floating or final finishing.
Additional features and benefits are ergonomically adjustable seats that provide essential back support, removable panels for easy servicing, proportional hydraulic steering for improved responsiveness, automatic shut-down once the operators stand up, and retardant spray system for uniform coverage of the slab surface.
