The new SmartStick welder from Multiquip is built to maximize productivity by eliminated interruptions. Innovative SmartStick technology automatically stops engine when not in use, maximizing fuel consumption. Power can then be easily restored by simply striking the welding rod. This unique characteristic allows users to smoothly transition to their next application in less time.

The SmartStick welder is fitted with independent controls and up to 200 amps for each operator or 340 amps for one. Additionally, it provides up to 10.5Kw of 120/240 volt AC power and operates at noise levels of 61.3 dBA. The arc force control selection on this unit allows the operator to fine tune DC current during low voltage welding conditions and helps prevent electrodes from sticking during short arc length welding.

The reliable Kubota diesel engine in the SmartStick welder is designed with a standard self-priming fuel system that allows for a quick start even if engine is run dry.  The E-MODE feature in this unit improves fuel efficiency by allowing the operator to weld with engine at idle speeds of up to 200 amps reducing operation cost and noise levels.

For maximum efficiency, thermal overload, water and oil level shut-downs, and multiple electric AC outlets for operator convenience come standard as does a brushless alternator design to lower maintenance requirements and costs.
