The World of Concrete has always been the place where construction gurus meet to admire the latest construction equipment developments, and this year was not the exception. Regardless of the economy, the World of Concrete 2009 had something new to show, and that's what 65,000 registered attendees signed up for.

 This year the Whiteman HHX ride-on power trowel and the Rammax Ace trench roller took the spot light. Spectators continuously surrounded the indoor booth to admire the "state of the art" features on the HHX, while at the outside booth many waited anxiously in line to experience the ride. Among the most spoke of benefits on the HHX ride on trowel was the swing–away upper frame design, a feature that significantly simplifies service and maintenance intervals.

 Compaction experts determined to maximize to productivity gathered around the Rammax Ace trench roller. The Rammax Ace is equipped with Compaction Expert technology; built in sensors inform the operator when highest level of compaction has been reached.

 Multiquip also introduced the SmartStick welder with exclusive features, the Rammax RW3015 ride-on roller, a combination of superior compaction with improved ergonomics, and new addition of products to the already existing GloBug lighting systems.

 In this 35th WOC edition, Multiquip and EZ Grout also announced their joint venture. Multiquip shared more than just a booth with EZ Grout, effective March 1, 2009 Multiquip will become their exclusive distributor in the USA and Mexico regions.
