Multiquip's new Rammax trench roller gives operators complete control, right at their fingertips.
The new P33/24FCR utilizes not only the proven unibody design and impressive impact forces characterizing Rammax rollers but also a convenient hand-held cable control. This lets users control the roller's functions from a safe distance, especially in trenches where job site injuries can occur.
The P33/24FCR trench roller, which is ideal for any large soil compaction application, produces 15,652 pounds (7,100 kilograms) of impact force. It is available in either 24- or 33-inch (61, 84 centimeters) drum configurations with cable-control or in combination with the construction industry's only solar-powered transmitter that never needs recharging. These two independent circuits minimize potential roller downtime should one circuit fail.
The P33/24FCR is fueled by a 14.5-horsepower Farymann 43F diesel engine. The unit's controls are all secured under a lockable cover and for ease of maintenance, LED lights inside the engine compartment alert the operator or technician to a non-performing component. A single removable panel allows technicians to quickly access all of the engine's electrical components, including the battery.
With vibration, this trench roller can operate on slopes with a 45 percent grade and without vibration, 55 percent. Maximum weight of the P33/24FCR is 3,197 pounds (1,450 kilograms).
