MQ Whiteman, the industry leader in concrete finishing products, introduces the model LD6 Ride-on Power Trowel. This 6-foot class machine is the first compact rider trowel to feature a fully hydrostatic drive system. Utilizing proven design concepts taken from larger ride-on trowels the LD6 delivers powerful performance and value to concrete contractors.  
The base configuration model features a 24 HP, V-twin, Briggs & Stratton engine direct coupled to a servo controlled hydraulic pump and high torque drive motors. This highly efficient system eliminates the service requirements common with mechanical drivelines.

Contractors can add a range of accessories to the LD6, including: a six LED light kit for illumination, a retardant spray system, arm rests, and an edging kit that enables the LD6 to finish closely against walls. Each accessory kit is designed for quick field installation. “The MQ Whiteman LD6 raises the bar for compact rider trowels,” stated Kelly Panzeri, Product Manager for Concrete Finishing Products. “Contractors want to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
