Cypress, CA (July 1, 2026) – Multiquip Inc. announces the retirement of Rich Sibrel, Vice President of Customer Support, after 25 years of service. Rich spent his entire career working in the equipment industry, beginning in 1977, at age fourteen, with American Rental, his mother’s rental store in Casper, Wyoming. Several years later, after finishing college, he moved to Arizona and managed stores for leading rental companies in the Phoenix area.
In October of 1993, Rich joined the Multiquip field sales team, covering the Rocky Mountain region. His relentless work ethic and customer focus quickly earned him promotions to Regional Sales Manager and then to Compaction Division Sales Manager before leaving the company in 2003.
He returned to Multiquip in 2010 in a senior sales management role before being promoted to a Vice President in 2019. During his second tenure, he led several initiatives, including the development of service and maintenance kits and the ICON and ServicePlus programs. His efforts helped bolster Multiquip’s position as an industry leader in customer service and after-sales support.
Rich contributed greatly to Multiquip’s success over the years and is well respected within the equipment and tool rental industries. The Multiquip family extends a well-deserved thank-you to Rich for his years of service and wishes him the best as he enters retirement.
