Carson, CA., (March 5, 2019) — Multiquip Inc. is proud to support the work of Concrete Cares, a non-profit organization, as it rallies support from within the concrete industry in the fight against cancer and supports families affected by the disease. This year the company donated an MQ Whiteman model B46H90 walk-behind trowel one-of-kind pink guard ring to the organization’s fundraising auction held during World of Concrete 2019. 

Concrete Cares donated all proceeds from the auction directly towards a local Las Vegas charity assisting families with children stricken with cancer.

The winning bid was placed by Cheryl Russell, the owner of Westside Concrete Accessories and Supply, based in Hillsboro, OR. Cheryl is very involved in building Breast Cancer Awareness and the pink power trowel is certain to increase awareness to the cause once it arrives on the jobsite.

Concrete Cares is a volunteer group focusing on fighting cancer on the local level. The nonprofit hosts fundraising events in communities across America. The aim of the organization is to make a difference in the local community by enabling friends, relatives and families to join the fight to provide support for those stricken with cancer. Concrete Cares was founded by Mike and Donna Murray. After selling Murray Decorative Concrete Supply the couple moved to Arkansas and now work full time on Concrete Cares. Signed banners and proceeds are presented to a local victim selected by community members.
